Greetings from Taste of Creole!

 

We are a husband and wife team, Gina and Yvon. Cooking has always been a passion we share together and we enjoy sharing it with others! We took over our family restaurant in Haiti in 1992 and we continue to run it successfully today. We have always grown up around the kitchen with food and family intertwined with love in every dish.

In 2008 we moved our family to Canada and we have continued our tradition of good food every chance we get. We have done food trucks, food festivals, and food shows; in which we have been crowned the “Best food winner/champions”. In 2016, we found a more permanent home at the St Jacob’s Farmers Market in Kitchener Ontario.

 

Taste of Creole has served thousands of market visitors with delicious authentic Haitian/Caribbean food. Gina is often seen at the forefront giving free samples and chatting with her customers. At taste of Creole our specialty is rice, we make many different varieties of rice dishes as it is a staple in every Haitian meal. As we expand into the world of catering, we look forward to providing you with the perfect meal for your guests!
